About MMA Worldwide
MMA Worldwide is the first MMA multimedia company with two nationally-distributed magazines, with state of the art digital versions (TapouT and MMA Worldwide), a tour bus, a TV series on HDNET, an interactive website and a radio show on EPSN.
Gym Finder
Design Militia were initially challenged with developing an interactive MMA Gym Finder for the current MMA Worldwide website that would cater upwards of 1000+ gyms across American allowing users to search via ZIP code to find gyms in their local area.
Website Redesign
After examining the current website’s layout, content and usability Design Militia proposed a redesigned layout making full use of the web page’s real estate allowing content to be easily read and navigated. Scalability was key with the new design as the site is packed full of news, interviews, fighters profiles and mixed media including videos and pictures.
HTML5 Ready
In order to keep up with the demands of MMA fans accessing the website on multiple devices Design Militia developed the website in HTML5 allowing the site to support a flash free video player capable of being played on the iPad and iPhone.
