Redesign of the CMA customer facing website and back office operations.


The Challenge
The Communications Management Association (CMA) approached us with the goal of not only contemporising the look of their site, but to simplify the day to day tasks that the CMA staff undertake. This included communicating with their database of members, issuing and keeping track of invoices, finding new business and many more administrative duties.

One of the primary tasks when creating the new webspace was to preserve all the content that was previously on the CMA's site and arrange it in a more intuitive hierarchy. It was imperative that the long-running members of the CMA were not daunted by too many new features or ideas.
The Work
We explored how the CMA staff made use of the system they had in place to perform all their tasks and developed a simplified and colour-coded method for performing the same functions in around half the time. We included systems and templates for compiling and creating newsletters from site content that can be automatically distributed to the entire member database and other advanced CRM and invoicing systems to allow the CMA to keep track.
